Font Style Guide

Choosing a font is one of my favorite parts of creating your piece — it’s what gives every design its own little personality. Some feel sweet and delicate, some feel classic and timeless, and some just have that perfect heirloom charm.

Because embroidery is stitched with thread (not printed), each font behaves a little differently. Stitch style, thickness, and size all play a role in how clean and beautiful your finished piece turns out — and I always want it looking just right for you.

Some fonts work best in smaller spaces, while others need a little more room to really shine. In certain listings, you may notice a font is already chosen or offered as a separate option — that’s simply to keep the design balanced and true to the look you see.

Just a few little things to keep in mind:

• Not every font will work for every design or placement
• Some styles have size limits to keep stitching crisp and readable
• Certain listings may recommend a specific font for the best results
• Font options may vary depending on the design details and space
• Final sizing may be adjusted slightly so everything looks polished and balanced

If you choose a font that doesn’t quite fit the design, don’t worry — I’ll always reach out with a few sweet suggestions before stitching begins. Just be sure your contact info is up to date at checkout so we can keep things moving smoothly.

And if you have a special font in mind, you’re always welcome to ask! I love helping bring your vision to life while making sure your piece keeps that soft, southern heirloom feel.
